I used to think a big, heavy knife was the only way to go, but a 6-inch Nakiri changed my mind completely.

Actually, a nakiri is a vegetable knife, not a general purpose one (just so you know).

Look at the chicken getting cut just fine. Does it really matter what the knife was made for if it works? People get so hung up on the rules for tools.
