Found 3 half-empty bottles of fabric softener under my sink from 2019

I was looking for a plunger and instead uncovered a graveyard of plastic bottles I forgot I owned. Turns out fabric softener is mostly water and fragrance, and none of it actually helps with climate goals. Anyone else just switch to vinegar and call it good?

Used to be a fabric softener loyalist honestly, thought it made everything smell like a dream. Then I realized the buildup on towels is real and the extra chemicals probably weren't doing my skin any favors either. Vinegar's been my go-to for a couple years now, no regrets (and way cheaper).
