I was still using those old plastic produce bags at the store until my 8-year-old asked me last month why we were 'buying trash'.

Now I keep a set of mesh bags in the car and it's cut our plastic use by at least 20 bags a week, so what other small swaps have you guys made that actually stuck?

Switched to cloth napkins years ago (they just feel nicer anyway). We keep a stack in a basket on the table and it cuts down on so much paper waste.

Oh man, that's awesome! I switched to a metal water bottle a few years back and it just became a habit. I also got some of those reusable cotton rounds for taking off makeup instead of the disposable ones. It felt weird at first but now I don't even think about it, I just toss them in the wash.

How many of those cotton rounds do you go through before washing them?
