Saw a neighbor throw out 3 bags of food scraps last Tuesday and it hit me how much methane I'm probably making
I started using a countertop compost bin last month after visiting the farmers market in Portland and realizing my kitchen waste was basically a tiny landfill - anyone else switch to composting and notice how fast the bin fills up?

Used to roll my eyes at people composting, but then my brother showed me his setup and how little trash he actually throws out. Changed my mind pretty quick once I saw the difference.

I know exactly what you mean. My neighbor talked me into it a few years back and I felt silly at first, but seeing how much less goes to the landfill really does change your mind pretty quick.
