$600 on a 5-axis probe and it paid for itself in 2 weeks

I was on the fence about dropping cash on a Renishaw probe for our Haas UMC-750. Bought it for around $600 used off eBay. Setup time on complex parts went from 45 minutes to like 10. Has anyone else seen that big a jump from adding probing?

Jumped in with a Renishaw probe on our older VF-2 and honestly it was a total game changer. Setup times went from 30 minutes down to maybe 8, and that's with the cheap eBay one too. Ngl, I think a lot of shops sleep on how much time they waste manually touching off or indicating stuff. Tbh, once you get used to probing you wonder how you ever lived without it. The ROI is just so obvious once you actually track the hours.

@finley_price24 close but the cheap eBay ones are usually knockoffs that can drift after a while, not actual Renishaws. Just keep an eye on repeatability if you're doing critical stuff.
