Can we talk about coolant concentration checks?

My lead at the shop in Tacoma told me my 5% mix was 'eating tools for lunch' after I burned up three end mills in a week. I started using a refractometer every morning and bumped it to 8%, and the chatter just stopped. How often do you guys actually check yours?

Same thing happened" is pretty vague, @carr.elliot. What was the actual outcome for you? The details matter here, because the fix changes a lot based on what broke.
