Crashed a $400 end mill because I forgot to check the coolant lines
Was running a titanium job last Tuesday at the shop on Elston Ave, everything going smooth until the tool started screaming. Walked over and saw the coolant nozzle was completely clogged with chips, no fluid hitting the cut at all. Anyone else ever wreck expensive tooling because of a simple coolant check you skipped?
