Found out a single flood coolant line costs $45 a foot for the good stuff

I was pricing out a new setup for my Haas VF-2 after the old line finally cracked and dumped coolant everywhere. Looked up the reinforced rubber stuff from a supplier in Milwaukee and nearly choked when I saw the per-foot cost. Is there a decent alternative that won't burst after six months of chips flying around?

Shit, $45 a foot is robbery. Have you looked into swaging your own lines from hydraulic hose? I've been running a Gates 321WC on my Fadal for two years with zero issues. Rated for way higher pressure than coolant pumps put out and costs half that per foot if you buy a bulk roll. Hit up a local hydraulic shop for the ends.

Wait, you've been doing this on a Fadal without issues?

Man that's a brutal price, I feel your pain on the sticker shock for sure.
