Had a Tuesday in Tulsa last week that nearly broke me as a machinist

@the_susan is onto something with the music thing, I swear it's like a reset button sometimes. I'll throw on some old school punk or something with a fast tempo and it just drowns out all that frustration building up in my head. But yeah, walking away for ten minutes is probably smarter than what I do which is just staring at the cut and hoping it fixes itself, lol. Faith is right, those days where nothing lines up make you want to throw your tools across the shop. I've learned the hard way that pushing through it just makes the part worse and then you gotta start over.

Hear you loud and clear on that. Those days where every cut feels off and nothing lines up right, they test your patience in a BIG way. Sometimes you just have to step back, take a breather, and come back at it fresh. Hope the rest of your week turned around.

Drop some music on with a good beat and tune out the world for ten minutes. It clears my head better than anything when I'm fighting a stubborn cut or a crooked line. @faith_carter hit it right on the head though, walking away for a bit always saves me from making things worse.
