Had to pick between a 3/8 and a 1/2 inch endmill for a weird pocket today
The print was a bit vague, so I went with the 1/2 inch for the extra rigidity. It worked, but now the part looks like it has a tiny swimming pool in it lol. Anyone ever have a cut come out looking like something totally different?

Oh man, that reminds me of my buddy's screw up last month. He was cutting some aluminum brackets. Meant to make a simple slot. His depth was way off. Ended up with this perfect little spoon shape in every part. We called it the cereal bowl run. Had to scrap the whole batch.

Last year I cut a test piece in some scrap delrin. The finish pass left these wavy lines that looked exactly like a tiny corn field. I slowed the feed rate way down and used a brand new tool for the real part.
