Just hit 50,000 parts run on my old Haas VF-2 without a crash

I was checking my runtime logs last night and realized I've run exactly 50,127 parts on this machine since I started here 4 years ago. Never once had a crash, not even a tool changer hiccup. The maintenance guy joked I'm either lucky or boring, but I think it's just taking time on setups, checking offsets twice, and not rushing the first part. My shop floor lead saw the number and said he's never seen anyone go that long without a wreck on a used machine. It's not a huge shop or anything, just me and two other operators in an industrial park outside Cleveland. Anyone else ever hit a clean streak like this or am I just weird about being careful?

Never once had a crash" sounds like you're bragging about playing it too safe. Running that many parts without a single mistake means you're probably leaving cycle time on the table or not pushing the machine hard enough. In my book, a few minor crashes are a sign you're actually trying to optimize and find the limits, not just coasting.

Knocked over a $2000 shelving unit once by sneezing on a setup.
