One shift in Phoenix where everything just clicked for 6 straight parts

Last Tuesday I had a run of 40 stainless flanges, tolerance at plus or minus .0005. Usually I fight with tool wear and thermal drift by part 15. But that day the machine was quiet, the coolant mix was fresh, and I only touched off the probe once at the start. Every single bore came in dead center, no adjustments needed, felt like the spindle was reading my mind. Anyone else have those weird perfect days where the old girl just behaves and you know touching it will break the spell?

That's just luck, not skill. The machine will humble you tomorrow.
