Switched from a 3-flute to a 5-flute endmill for finishing aluminum and the surface finish went from okay to mirror smooth.

I ran the same part with both cutters on our VF-2, and the extra flutes just left no visible tool marks at all, so has anyone else found a sweet spot for flute count on different materials?
