Almost wrecked my whole project with a bad commit last night

I was coding a simple calculator app for a class and pushed a commit without testing it first. It deleted half the functions and I spent 3 hours fixing it at 2am. Has anyone else had a stupid git mistake screw up their whole week?

Oh man, "almost wrecked" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. You definitely did wreck it.

Happened to me once with a batch of cookies. @diana_black and I were both trying to scrape them off the pan before the smoke alarm went off. They were wrecked, we were laughing, and the kitchen smelled like burnt sugar for a week.
