yo the relief when you finally see that green output is unreal lol, just wait til you hit the next bug that makes zero sense and you spend another 3 weeks on it

Wait, has anyone actually tracked how many times their brain just shuts off for 3 seconds straight while staring at a screen? I had this one bug where a function worked fine on my laptop but crashed on my desktop every single time. I mean, I literally spent a week swapping parts and reinstalling stuff. Turns out it was a faulty USB cable that was somehow interfering with the power save mode on my desktop. Blew my mind. Now I just keep a stack of random cables and swap them when I get desperate. Still feels like magic when green outputs pop up though.
