First script I wrote deleted my own files, 3 years ago in Tucson
I was learning Python and wrote a cleanup script that used a wrong path variable. It ran on my Documents folder instead of a temp folder, deleted like 2 years of college papers. Has anyone else had a beginner mistake wipe out real data before you learned to back stuff up?
