Hit 100 solved problems on Codecademy and it flipped my approach

I was stuck for weeks redoing the same beginner tutorials, scared to try anything harder. Last Tuesday I hit 100 solved exercises in their Python track, and that number surprised me because I never counted before. Seeing that milestone in my profile made me realize I'd actually learned the basics, not just clicked through. It changed my mind about needing a teacher or a bootcamp to get anywhere. So I started a small project, a grocery list app, and it's messy but it works. Has anyone else hit a random milestone like that and felt suddenly ready to build something real?

My neighbor hit 1,000 miles on his bike trainer app last month and suddenly signed up for a century ride. Numbers are weird like that, they make the invisible progress visible and flip a switch in your head. Glad you got that grocery list app done, that first messy build always teaches more than any tutorial.
