Last month I was all about Python for everything, but a talk at the local meetup changed my mind on that.

Some dev showed how he built a simple site in pure JavaScript in like 2 hours and I realized I was overcomplicating everything with frameworks. Has anyone else had that moment where you realize simpler is better for beginners?

Heard a podcast guy say he ditched jQuery for vanilla JS and never looked back.

Ngl I read a blog post where the dev said vanilla JS made his code way easier to debug and maintain. Honestly that sold me on trying it out for my own stuff.
