My cousin who drives a forklift in Toledo asked me why coders type so much, and his follow up question broke my brain
Honestly I laughed at first when he said it, but he was serious. He asked why we don't just tell the computer what we want in normal words and let it figure out the steps. Ngl I sat there for a second because I could not give him a good answer that did not sound like a cop out. It made me think most beginner tutorials skip the part where you learn the machine is dumb and you have to spell out every tiny thing. So what is the actual best way to explain that to someone who has never written a line of code?
