Rant: Tried out a coding bootcamp in Austin last month and it was a mess

I signed up for a 12-week bootcamp downtown Austin thinking it would fast track my learning. By week 3, the instructor was rushing through loops and nobody in the class could follow along. The whole experience made me realize self-study with free resources like freeCodeCamp might actually work better for beginners like me. Has anyone else had better luck going slow on their own instead of paying for a fast class?

Week 3 is exactly when bootcamps should be picking up steam, not falling apart.

John650, that's actually when they should be adding more support, not less.
