Warning: spent 3 days on a CSS issue that was just one missing curly brace
I was building a simple landing page for my portfolio and nothing would line up right no matter what I tried. After staring at the code for hours, I found I forgot a closing curly brace on line 47 of my stylesheet. Has anyone else wasted a whole week on a tiny syntax mistake like this?

Ugh the missing curly brace. "nothing would line up right" is basically my life story with CSS. Last week I spent an entire afternoon trying to figure out why my nav bar was floating off screen and guess what? I used a colon instead of a semicolon on line 12. It's always the dumbest little thing that eats up hours of your day. Makes me feel like a real genius when I finally spot it.

Dude, the colon/semicolon mixup is a classic. I once spent a full evening tweaking margins on a button that just kept refusing to center. Turned out I wrote "margin: auto" instead of "margin: 0 auto". Felt like a real rockstar developer after that one.

oh man the curly brace and the semicolon are like the twin evils of coding. i swear every time i think im done debugging, i find out i just typed a colon where a semicolon should be and my entire layout explodes. its like the universe is playing a practical joke on us. one time i spent 6 hours on a flexbox alignment issue that turned out to be a missing space before a bracket, i wanted to throw my laptop out the window. its humbling, you know, how the tiniest typo can make you feel like you dont know anything about coding. but hey, at least we are all in this together, staring at the screen like idiots over a single character.
