Hit 50,000 cups of coffee brewed at home and it made me stop and think

I did the math after a friend joked about how much coffee I must drink and realized I have brewed around 50,000 cups at home over 20 years of making my own pour overs, which honestly explains why I can never go back to store bought drip.

Twenty years of pour overs and you just now did the math on it? What made you actually sit down and calculate the number instead of just shrugging it off like most people would?

Wait, who actually does math like that unless something goes wrong? Bet you had a bad batch or found grounds in your cup one too many times. Most of us just keep making the same mistakes because we're too busy or lazy to question it.
