Took me 2 months to figure out my grinder was the problem with uneven espresso shots

I kept getting sour shots no matter how much I adjusted the dose or tamp pressure. Swapped beans three times, even changed my water filter (you know, the whole routine). Turns out my burrs were slightly misaligned by like 0.2mm. A $10 shim kit from Amazon fixed it in 5 minutes after I spent 60 days pulling my hair out. Has anyone else dealt with a burr alignment issue that drove them nuts?
