Dropped $42 on a "laptop friendly" cafe in Austin and my screen was invisible by noon
We sat down at this cute spot on South Congress last Saturday around 11am and the windows were floor to ceiling, which looked great in photos. By 12:30 the glare was so bad I couldn't see a single line of code, so we packed up and moved to a spot with shades two blocks away. How do you all check for good lighting before you commit to a coffee shop for a few hours of work?
