Just realized I hate working from coffee shops

Tried it for three weeks straight at Blue Bottle in Denver. Too much noise, bad WiFi, and I spent $45 on drinks I didn't even finish. Anyone else prefer a quiet library corner over the "coffee shop vibe"?

Blue Bottle is actually based in Oakland not Denver lol.

Ties right into that whole thing where people assume a brand is from wherever they first encountered it. @jamiew53 has a good point though, gets exhausting trying to keep track of where things actually started versus where they just got popular.

Agree with you on the "coffee shop vibe" thing. Tried it myself a handful of times and it just never clicked for me either. The noise is the worst part, people having loud conversations right next to you while you're trying to focus. And yeah the WiFi is always spotty no matter how trendy the place is. I'd take a quiet library corner any day over that.
