The $4 foamer at Mudhouse on 5th made me see my whole latte art issue

After 11 months of trying to free pour tulips that always came out blobby, a barista there let me try his cheap little handheld frother and my milk texture suddenly had microfoam, so was I secretly oversteaming my milk this whole time with the big wand and has anyone else hit that wall?

Did you ever think the big wand was just too much power for home use? Sometimes simpler really is better.

Kinda makes you wonder if all that power just ends up being wasted anyway, right?
