5 months of digging through dollar bins for X-Men back issues and the change in my reading pile is wild
I used to grab whatever random issues looked cool at my local shop in Portland, mostly 90s stuff with foil covers, and my reading pile was a mess of half finished storylines. Back in January I started keeping a small notebook with a list of specific runs I actually wanted to read start to finish, just cheap single issues, nothing over $3. Five months later I've got complete runs of Claremont's Uncanny from 200 to 230 and I've actually read every one instead of stacking them. The notebook sounds dumb but it keeps me from buying duplicates and random junk. Anyone else keep a want list going, or do you just grab whatever catches your eye and figure it out later?
