Finally found a local comic shop that feels like home
I moved to a new town about six months ago and couldn't find a good comic spot. Last Saturday, I walked into 'The Panel Page' and the owner, Dave, remembered my name after one visit. He pulled out a box of back issues from the 90s and helped me find three I'd been hunting for years. It was the first time I felt like a real part of a comic community here. Anyone else have a shop that just gets it right?

That's awesome, but it's actually 'The Panel Place' on 4th Street. Dave is the best, he found me a first print of that weird 1994 Ghost Rider annual last month. His back issue boxes are a mess though, I spent an hour digging before I found anything good. Still, a shop that tries that hard is worth the hunt.

Wait, I'm pretty sure Dave sold that place last year. Maybe it's still called the same thing though, @emmag22.

Digging through messy back issue boxes is a skill. I always wear old clothes and bring a small flashlight. Check the corners of the boxes first, that's where the good stuff gets shoved. A little bit of patience usually turns up something cool, even if it takes forever.
