I used to bag and board every single issue, then my basement flooded in March
For about 8 years I put every comic in a bag and board, even dollar bin stuff I did not care about. After the flood in March, I pulled out 12 long boxes and found water stains and wavy pages on stuff I thought was safe because it was "protected." My neighbor Dave, who has been collecting since 1982, looked at my setup and asked me why I was sealing in moisture instead of keeping it out. Now I only bag the keys, and the rest go in open boxes on a shelf with a dehumidifier running. Has anyone else had a flood or humidity mess change how they store their books?
