My nephew asked why I keep all my old comic book boxes

I was showing him my collection and he just said 'but you can read them all online now'. It hit different because I realized he'll never know the feeling of hunting through a longbox at a con for that one missing issue. Anyone else feel like the hunt was half the fun?

That hunt was mostly just expensive gas and sore feet.

Honestly saw a thing about how most hunts end up costing way more than the meat's worth.

Yeah, that math never works out if you're just after cheap meat. Lucasw82 is right about the gas and sore feet part. Best to think of it as paying for the whole experience, not just the freezer fill.
