Started sorting my pulls by artist instead of character and it made reading way more fun.

I got tired of flipping through 12 different Bat-titles every week and tried stacking all of Jorge Jimenez's art together, and suddenly I noticed storytelling tricks in the panel layouts I'd totally missed before - has anyone else tried rearranging their reading order like this?

Start noticing how differently two artists handle the same action scene. Jimenez always frames the big hits in a wide shot while someone like Greg Capullo uses those tight close ups to sell impact. Did you ever spot a pattern in how your favorite artist uses panel shapes to control the reading pace or is it just about the pretty art?
