Wasted $80 on a signed variant from a local show, total regret
I bought a supposedly rare Todd McFarlane signed Spawn #1 variant at the Midtown Comic Con last month for $80. Turns out the signature was fake, the guy running the booth disappeared after day one. Now I'm stuck with a worthless book that I can't even trade. Anyone else get burned by those sketchy back-row vendors at small shows?
