Sold mine and bought a cheap backup light instead.

You sold a $400 dive light for a $30 backup. That's like trading a car for a bicycle tire. The battery life alone on the good one was ten hours. My cheap backup lasts maybe two dives before it gets dim.

@sullivan.spencer had the right idea. Gear that just sits is a total waste. Should've bought something you'd actually use.
