Vent: hit 1,000 logged dive hours and nobody warned me about the knee
I finally crossed 1,000 commercial dive hours on a pier inspection in Norfolk last week. I kept a log since day one because my old supervisor said it would matter someday. Nobody told me that the milestone would show up as a dull ache in my left knee after a 6 hour shift in heavy current. My body is telling me I need to rethink my approach to gear maintenance and maybe stretch more. Anyone else hit a big number and realize your joints did the math before you did?

Wait, you actually logged every single hour from day one? That's crazy impressive, most guys I know would lose the book by hour 200.
