A guy on my bus route said to walk to the second car, and it saved me 15 minutes every day
Last year I was riding the 7:15 bus into downtown Seattle and always got on at the front door, which meant standing the whole way. An older guy named Ray who rides the same route every day kept telling me to walk back to the second car because it stops right at the escalator at my transfer point. I ignored him for weeks until one rainy Tuesday when I finally tried it, and I stepped off the bus about 20 feet from the stairs instead of fighting through the crowd at the front. That little change gets me to my desk 15 minutes earlier, which does not sound like much until you do it 5 days a week. Anyone else got a small route trick like that?
