DAE see more electric scooters parked at the train station now?

The rack was full this morning with a bunch of new models. It's getting popular for the last mile part of the trip.

Seeing that full rack is becoming the new normal, especially in the morning. From my experience, it pays to have a backup plan if your usual spot is taken. Try folding scooters that you can carry on the train, so you don't fight for parking. Also, check if your station has more than one rack location, some are less crowded. The key is to not rely on finding a spot, especially with the popularity surge. It's a good trend for cutting down car trips, but it does require some adjustment.

Actually @grace320, I used to get so frustrated but your backup plan idea makes sense now... guess we just have to adapt.

Disagree with this whole adapt idea. It feels like we're being told to fix a problem we didn't create. Carrying a folding scooter on a train is just adding more hassle to our daily routine. The real issue is that stations haven't kept up with how many people are biking now. We shouldn't have to play hide and seek with rack locations. If this is the new normal, then the answer is to build more parking, not make us jump through hoops.
