My 6AM train streak hit 4 weeks straight today
Been catching the 6:12 out of Oakland for a month now, the one with the cracked window seat that nobody wants. Today the conductor actually said 'morning regular' to me and my coffee was still hot by the time we hit Fremont. Anyone else got a weird commute routine that makes you feel like you own the place?

That "morning regular" nod is the whole game. Reminds me of the bus driver in Seattle who saved me a seat for three years until I moved, never learned my name but knew my stop. It's funny how a cracked window seat can feel more like home than your actual apartment.
