Serious question, did I waste money buying a monthly train pass for 3 years?
I always figured the pass was the smart move, but last week I actually added up my rides and I was paying $155 a month for trips that cost $98 at most. The tip off was my coworker in Jersey City asking why I don't just load a card and pay per ride. Anyone else do the math on their pass and find out it was a bad deal?
