Shoutout to the bus driver on the 44 who said I'd hit 500 rides this year

I started tracking my bus rides back in January just to see how much I was actually using my monthly pass, and this morning the driver on the 44 route recognized me and said I must be close to 500 rides by now. Turns out I'm at 487 rides since January 2nd, which works out to about 2.3 rides a day, and it made me look at my $78 monthly pass way differently. Does anyone else keep a count like this, or am I the weirdo writing numbers in a notebook at the back of the bus?
