Showerthought: I was the problem on the 7:15 express bus for years

Last Tuesday, I was wedged next to a guy with a huge backpack who kept hitting me every time we turned. I finally snapped and told him to take it off, and he just stared at me and said 'you know the rack is empty, right?'. I'd been standing for 45 minutes with my bag on, blocking the aisle, for three years. I never once looked up at the overhead rack. Anyone else have a total 'duh' moment that fixed a daily commute headache?

So what finally made you look up? Just a random glance or did something else clue you in?

Maybe it was just a bird flying by... or a weird cloud. People read way too much into these moments. Sometimes you just look up because your neck gets stiff from staring at your phone. It doesn't have to be some big, meaningful sign from the universe.
