This morning, a guy on the 7:15 train had a full-on shaving routine
I was on the 7:15 Amtrak from Stamford to Grand Central, just trying to wake up, when the man in the seat across from me pulled out a small mirror, a can of shaving cream, and a razor. He propped the mirror on his laptop bag and started shaving, right there in his seat. He was super careful, but I saw a few flecks of foam land on the seat back. It was wild. The whole car had that sharp, clean smell for the next ten minutes. I get that the morning commute is tight, but this felt like a new level of multi-tasking. Has anyone else seen someone do their full morning routine on public transit? Where do you draw the line?

Wait, was it really an Amtrak train? I mean, Amtrak doesn't go to Grand Central, that's Metro-North. Maybe it was the Metro-North line from Stamford? That detail just stuck out to me because I take that train sometimes. Anyway, doing a full wet shave on any train is pretty out there. I draw the line at anything that makes a mess for other people or uses liquids. That foam on the seat is exactly why it's not okay.

So you're on the Metro-North line often, right? What's the weirdest thing you've actually seen someone do on that train? I feel like the shaving guy might not even make the top five.

Full wet shave on a train? That's a power move.
Next time someone's gonna set up a barber chair and offer haircuts to other passengers. Real mobile salon vibes.
