Thought bus lane skeptics were annoying until I timed it myself

Honestly, I used to roll my eyes at people pushing for more bus lanes here in Denver. Figured it was just a way to take away car lanes for no real reason. Then last Tuesday I sat in my car for 12 minutes at a red light while a bus with 30 people zipped past in its own lane. Finally decided to take the bus myself the next day and saved 8 minutes each way compared to driving. The 15 bus route on Broadway is legit quicker during rush hour now. Am I wrong for thinking maybe we need more of these lanes?
