Warning: The 7:15 AM train out of Grand Central has been a total mess this week

Yesterday they cancelled three in a row, and I was stuck on the platform for 45 minutes. What's the best backup route if you're heading up to White Plains?

My friend got so fed up she started taking the express bus from Port Authority. It actually got her there faster last Tuesday with all the train delays. Might be worth checking the bus schedule as a backup plan.

Ugh, that's brutal, a 45 minute wait is insane. I was on that platform Monday and it was pure chaos, people were getting really frustrated. Honestly, I've started driving to a different station further up the line when I hear there's trouble, it's a hassle but at least it moves.
