A 15 year tech showed me his bench and one thing on it stuck with me
I was at a shop in Denver picking up a laptop last Tuesday and the tech, Marcus, had a little notebook where he wrote down every machine he touched, just the model and what he did. He mentioned he's had it 11 years and it has saved him twice when a customer came back swearing he broke something. Anyone else keep paper notes on repairs, or am I the only one thinking about starting this?

Man, I wish I'd started doing that years ago! I keep a running list on my phone now and it saved my butt last month when a guy tried to say I scratched his screen.
