Back in 2012, I used to just blow dust out of every PC with canned air.

Now I always use an ESD-safe brush and a vacuum first, because I saw a motherboard fry from static after a quick clean. What's your first step for a dusty system these days?

Just take it outside and blow the dust away from you.

A vacuum can still build up static, you know?
