Hit 500 repair tickets today, still feels like I just started
I counted up my ticket log this morning and realized I've closed out exactly 500 repairs since I started doing this 4 years ago. Most of them were basic stuff, dead RAM sticks, corrupted drives, the occasional mystery beep code that turned out to be a loose fan cable. But it hit me that 500 is a weird milestone because I still get nervous on new builds, like I haven't earned the right to call myself a tech yet. My wife laughed when I told her, she said I've fixed more laptops than most doctors see patients in a week. I guess the number matters because it's proof that the grind adds up, even when every day feels like the same troubleshooting loop. Has anyone else hit a random count like this and suddenly felt more legit, or am I just overthinking my own scoreboard?
