Paperwork for warranty jobs is eating into my repair time

Had a customer with a bad drive covered by warranty. The manufacturer's website would not upload my repair photos for the claim. Now I am on hold with their support line, wasting my morning. This keeps happening, what is your trick to get past this?

Oh the classic warranty website black hole... my trick is mostly just accepting that I'll lose a full day whenever one comes in. Honestly at this point I think my own bad luck is what breaks their uploader half the time. I've started taking the photos, then just staring at the screen for a minute waiting for it to fail. Save everything locally like Caleb said, then you can at least angrily attach them to an email while you're on eternal hold.

Ugh, been there. I always save everything to a folder first, then send it to them in an email when their site dies. Their system is garbage but a paper trail saves your skin.
