Pro tip: Wet curing for 7 days still gave me spider cracks on a garage slab last tuesday

I did the whole slow wet cure with burlap and misting every 4 hours, but the control joint spacing was 12 feet apart and I think that's where I messed up, has anyone else had spider cracks show up even with good curing because of joint spacing?

Well, 12 foot spacing on a garage slab is pretty generous for control joints, most guys keep it to 8 or 10 feet max. Even perfect curing won't fix layout that's too far apart.

@terryk10 hit it right there - I learned that lesson the hard way after my 12 foot joints cracked up a few winters ago.
