The 90-lb bag math that caught me off guard
Counted out a full pallet of 90-lb bags for a driveway in Austin last week and figured the slab weight was way off from what I had in my head, turned out I was shorting myself by nearly 2 tons. How do you guys ballpark weight on bigger pours when you're ordering from the yard?

Tbh I just multiply length times width times depth and divide by 12 to get cubic feet, then add 10% for waste. That number usually lands close enough, but yeah, 90-lb bags screw with your head. Last month I did a 12-yard pad and was off by half a yard, cost me an extra trip to the batch plant.
