Guy in the 47th row at the Dallas conference swore he saw a shadow move behind a sealed door 20 minutes before the fire alarm went off

I was stuck in the breakout session on building codes when the lights flickered twice, then 200 of us are standing in the parking lot watching smoke pour out of an exit I'd walked past 5 times that morning, and now I'm wondering if the security team ignored a watchlist alert or if the whole thing was just a coincidence - anyone else have a moment that felt too perfectly timed to be random?

Whoa, what if the flickering lights were a signal to test if anyone was paying attention.

Why would someone waste time setting up a fake signal instead of just fixing the lights? Feels more like a loose bulb than some secret test.

Hard disagree. Flickering lights and a fire alarm in the same hour is just bad luck, not a conspiracy. People see patterns where none exist because it makes a boring day feel like a movie.
